The best in free-flowing rugby

The mighty Barbarians, a scratch team made up of some of the biggest stars and fresh talent in the world, face a towering All Blacks XV at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Captained by New Zealander Luke Whitelock and featuring stars such as England prop Joe Marler and France forward Teddy Thomas, the Baa-Baas produced a scintillating performance to take the lead against an All Blacks XV side bristling skill. In a 10-try festival of rugby, the Barbarians ultimately had to hold on for a 35-31 win in a fitting spectacle for a truly world-class Stadium.

The final five minutes saw the All Blacks camped inside the Baa-Baas’ five-metre line as the Kiwis pushed for a winning try, but they lost their own line-out in the final minute, allowing the Barbarians to kick the ball into touch as the clock reached full time, taking victory, the Killick Cup and the bragging rights.
